Annual Global Desalination Investment To Reach $16.6bn By 2016, Says Pike Research

The global desalination investment will double from $8.3bn in 2010 to $16.6bn per year by 2016, representing cumulative spending of $87.8bn during that period, as the demand for the supply of fresh water for industrial, agricultural, and domestic use is increasing and the cost of desalination steadily decreasing, says a new report from Pike Research.
