Inge watertechnologies, a German company that develops ultrafiltration (UF) technology for water treatment, has bagged a multi-million dollar contract to supply ultrafiltration modules for a sea water treatment plant to be constructed by Hangzhou Xidoumen in the city of Tangshan on the Yellow Sea.

H2O Innovation, a complete water treatment systems company providing custom designed systems along with chemicals for membrane filtration systems, has secured new contracts worth $4.5m, to provide custom-built water treatment systems for municipal and industrial end-users, in the US and Canada and, to a lesser extent, in Egypt.

American Water, an investor-owned US water and wastewater utility company, has said that its subsidiary, Applied Water Management, has secured a $3.4m contract from Home Properties to build a wastewater treatment plant in Islip, New York.
