The IRISS stand at this year’s Maintec not only emphasises the growing importance of thermal imaging windows in modern maintenance but also introduces an important partnership to UK industry. This is the first show which combines the talents of IRISS and ERIKS, the company’s distribution partner in the UK. ERIKS is known for its holistic approach to automation, repair and maintenance which is why it is just a good fit for IRISS.
ERIKS is responsible for the sale, supply and installation of the entire IRISS range of electrical maintenance safety devices but at Maintec 2015 IRISS thermal imaging window products, in their many forms and in combination with other technologies such as ultrasound, will be the primary focus.
IRISS thermal imaging windows are in demand because their viability and performance are greatly enhanced by their material of manufacture. These patented polymer windows can be any size or shape and because they are shatterproof, UV and vibration-resistant they are ideal for any size of electrical system in any working or industrial environment.
They ensure personnel safety while allowing the system to be thermally inspected under load and, furthermore, they carry an unlimited lifetime warranty. IRISS windows are now also available in both opaque and clear polymer – the Platinum Series.
The Platinum Series exceeds industry standards as the only IR windows suitable for electrical inspection in the UV, visual and all three infrared spectrums. A fixed and stable transmission rate is assured for accurate quantitative and qualitative analysis. It helps companies comply with NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and is fully certified and tested to UL, IEE, IP65/NEMA, Lloyds of London and American Bureau of Shipping standards.
Standard IRISS windows – both opaque and clear - are available in round, rectangular and curved shapes with customisable features such as housing materials, gaskets, covers, locking devices, private labelling and colour. Custom solutions (the CAP Series) allow IRISS windows to be manufactured to meet the specific needs of the application.
