Temperature Control Hire specialist, Watkins Hire, has appointed Rob Kemp to the post of Specialist Hire Manager, Scotland, as part of the company's strategic expansion north of the border.

Rob joins Watkins Hire with more than 20 years experience gained with a competitor firm and has been given a remit of growing the company's market share in Scotland, where Watkins Hire already has an established sales team. Amongst his first tasks will be to open Watkins' first ever depot in Falkirk, Scotland and his appointment is part of a major investment in the region, which also includes recruitment of further engineers to service Scottish customers.

Rob will spearhead Watkins Hire sales, rental and customer service across the company's boiler rental, chiller hire, portable air conditioning hire and temporary heating portfolio and his remit includes serving existing customers as well as expanding the company's customer base in Scotland.
