For their 2008 Christmas charity project, Beko Technologies Ltd chose to help a local scout group, Scouting was 101 years old in 2008! 1st Malvern Link Scout, based at Redland Road in Malvern received a cheque so they could buy much needed equipment for outdoor activities. The Scout group has grown in recent years after being taken over by leader Andy Massey, it now has 29 members and is approaching full capacity.

Compressed air specialist and system supplier Beko Technologies GmbH will extend its headquarters in Neuss on the river Rhine by 45 percent. The family-led company has earmarked four million euro for the project. Construction will commence in October this year, and completion is scheduled for spring 2010.
