Transforming efficiency and quality through asset monitoring

High standards within the hospitality and retail industries are crucial to success and profitability, from ensuring the best food quality and sustainability practices to streamlining operating costs – but how can this be achieved every time, without fail?

Clearly there’s a great deal of infrastructure involved from ovens to refrigerators and freezers, and these are crucial assets that ensure the best quality whilst playing a large role in sustainability. This equipment also makes up a high proportion of operating costs in energy usage, but are these systems operating at their most efficient level? The only way to ensure this 100% of the time is through smart condition monitoring systems that can help to transform quality and energy efficiency by alerting staff to any underperforming assets.

Particle Pal Pro: The Pinnacle of On-Site Oil Analysis

Filtertechnik’s tablet-based portable oil analysis kit gives in-depth analysis and portability through new digital imaging technology. A 10” touch screen display literally puts all the metrics you need at your fingertips.  Particulate counts and analysis, water content and remaining oil life.

The new digital imaging camera takes 4 frames-per-second at intricate resolution, recognising anything that is 2 microns and above. Additional benefits are advanced algorythms which sort particles by size and shape giving root cause analysis.  An additional benefit is that the camera recognises air bubles and eliminates them from ISO counts.

Simply Plug > Play > Predict with the award-winning CM solution OPTIME

Easily scalable; your machine operators, process plants and entire manufacturing sites can now benefit from the use of OPTIME.

Schaeffler’s new Condition Monitoring (CM) solution, OPTIME, offers a unique set of benefits over alternative CM systems. In simple terms, users can Plug > Play > Predict. The installation is straightforward and does not require any specialist expertise. The machine diagnostics are displayed instantly, showing the maintenance engineers where they are needed.

The best Condition Monitoring systems can now provide Automated Fault Diagnostics, Trending and Prognostics to help you plan maintenance work – and only when it is needed.

Condition Monitoring (CM) gives its full value when it is used to drive Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) or at the very least is used to plan corrective work before machine failure occurs.

However, just having an overall measurement of machine condition, such as an overall vibration level reading, doesn’t tell you enough to do this.   What you need to know to plan efficient corrective work before machine failure is:
