Following an audit by BINDT in December last year, TEST NDT International received accreditation by the National Aerospace NDT Board (NANDTB) as an Outside Agency (OA) Level 3 service provider this March. This follows on from the accreditation by BINDT as a training provider, which was granted in February of this year.

Expansion of NDT Level 3 Consultancy Services for the South West School of NDT

Trevor Hiscox, known to many in the NDT aerospace industry, has joined the South West School of NDT to support its expanding NDT Level 3 consultancy business. Trevor spent over thirty years at Airbus UK Filton, during which time he undertook several NDT roles, from NDT Manager (Manufacturing) to Level 3 NDT Engineer responsible for auditing and approving suppliers. He also represented Airbus on the Nadcap Task Group and the UK National NDT Board.

Midas installs automated eddy current inspection system

Midas-NDT engineers have installed an automated eddy current inspection system at a United Kingdom service inspection company. The system is capable of the simultaneous inspection of both the exterior surface and the interior bore of a 2000 mm metallic shaft.
