Wanner International is now offering integrated variable speed drive with its Hydra-Cell P200 metering pumps.

The innovative design combines an AC induction motor with a variable speed drive (inverter) mounted on the motor in a terminal box. Combining the motor & drive together is claimed to be simple to use while being highly accurate and repeatable. The compact design and low weight of the unit complements the small size and footprint of the Hydra-Cell P200 metering pump.

The ATEX approved, IP65, class F variable frequency drive system is easy to set up and adjust through a local analogue control knob, graded from 0 to 100%.

Because Hydra-Cell pumps are true positive displacement pumps, flow rate is directly proportionate to input shaft speed and virtually independent of system discharge pressures. Hydra-Cell P200 pumps with metal heads operate at up to 70 bar with flow rates from 2.0 to 221.5 lph although pumps with polypropylene and Kynar® heads are restricted to 17 bar and 24 bar respectively.

The Hydra-Cell P200 with electronic control exceeds the performance requirements of API 675 in terms of steady state accuracy (±1%), Linearity (±3%) and Repeatability (±3%).

The new Loctite Maintenance Expert Guide from Henkel is a little book with a big message.  Its purpose is to demonstrate to those involved in maintenance, repair and overhaul that Loctite® covers far more applications than just bonding.  Indeed within this trusted brand are products for the broadest variety of engineering applications.

The laminated, pocket sized booklet is a mine of information.  Introduced for use in tandem with online support tools, it is cleverly designed to make product selection quick and easy.  Although it doesn’t detail every product available in the Loctite® Maintenance range, it covers the general purpose products that meet the needs of the majority of everyday maintenance tasks.

DYNASONICS has announced the launch of the new DXN portable ultrasonic flow and heat meter.

“The DXN represents a new generation in portable ultrasonic flow measurement, “says John Erskine, VP of sales & marketing, “built on innovative hybrid metering technology that automatically switches between transit time and Doppler modes as needed.

The new Baker DX series of static motor analysis equipment from SKF replaces older-generation Baker D-series and ST series surge test analysers. The DX is ideal as an entry level instrument for performing motor and generator analysis in areas such as industrial motor test/maintenance, motor servicing and OEM manufacturing.

The SKF Static Motor Analyser, Baker DX offers wide capabilities to analyse all insulation and motor circuits in AC and DC motors, generators and coils.
