13th International Exhibition of Railway Technology
28 - 30 March 2023, Lille Grand Palais – France
During this edition of SIFER 2023, five regions will be promoting their know-how and strengthening their attractiveness through a regional pavilion, bringing together all the players of the sector within each territory on a joint stand: the Hauts-de-France region (hosting the AIF cluster), Bourgogne Franche-Comté (hosting the Mecateamcluster, whose influence now extends across the whole country), Seine-et-Marne, Centre-Val de Loire, and Occitanie (TOTEM cluster) will be represented.
SIFER has always placed the regions at the core of its programme. This is one of the fundamental principles of the show, which, since 2001, has been held in the heart of the main railway region of France and Europe, and is the 3rd most important in the world. This allows for the show to remain in close proximity to the stakeholders who drive the industry and make it competitive on a global scale.
A stronger presence of FIF with, among others, the organisation of the round table "French Regional Authorities: What major projects to come?” Tuesday 28 March 4.00pm The session will be attended by the Vice-Presidents of Mobility for French Regions. Railcoop will present a “Feedback on the development of rail freight in sparsely populated areas”, Thursday 30 March 10.30am Created in 2019, Railcoop is the first rail cooperative in France. On 15 November 2021, it inaugurated its first freight service in Occitanie, between the territories of Lot and Aveyron and the logistics hub of Toulouse-St-Jory. One year later, what are the findings and prospects of this enterprise counting more than 13,000 members? |
