Pulley Mount Filter protected inside of heavy duty vinyl cover (close-up video presentation).

Heavy Duty Vinyl Cover wrapped around the Pulley Mount Filter. Notice how the filter fan-folds into cover. The cover has an inner Velcro strip which retains the bottom end of the wrap around cover, while a top flap comes down over the top and is secured using buckle straps.
The vinyl cover is ideal in regions where the filter is taken down and stored during winter shut down periods. In regions where there is no need to shut down for winter, the pulley mount filter can simply be equipped with bundle straps that will hold the filter in the fan folded position when not in use.

Protecting cooling towers from airborne debris simply doesn't get any easier than this.
Pulley Mount Air Inlet Filter Screen (Also known as a Cottonwood Filter Screen)

Simply raise the filter screen and it will stop airborne debris at its point of entry thus protecting the entire loop (Fill, Sump, Strainers & Heat Exchangers).

Also diffuses sunlight to help thwart algae growth. The non-stick surface enables easy cleaning without removal from the tower. Simply spray with a garden hose - even rain can rinse the filters clean. Saves maintenance time & effort, helps reduce water treatment chemical cost, reduces energy cost at the tower & chiller and contributes to green building initiatives - earn LEED Credits.

Pulley Mount Cottonwood Filter Screens -Two Men Lowering Filter on a Cooling Tower.

Pulley Mount Cottonwood Filters Screens are quick and easy for two men to lower. Cottonwood filter screens are available for all makes and models of mechanical equipment including cooling towers, air cooled chillers & condenser units, rooftop units, dry coolers, air handlers and louvers, gas turbine intakes, and much more.

Filter screens are also available with a hail guard feature to protect condenser coils. Cottonwood filter screens provide equipment protection from debris that will foul equipment and reduce operational efficiency.

Filter screens are designed to stop airborne debris at its point of entry - cottonwood seed, insects, leaves, pine needles, lint, pollen, birds, feathers, paper & wrappers, dirt & dust, construction debris and more.

Pulley Mount Filter Screen on Cooling Tower - 1 man lowering filter

The Pulley Mount Air Inlet Filter Screen (also known as cottonwood filter screens) mounted to a cooling tower and being lowered by one person into the heavy duty, fiber reinforced vinyl cover for protection during the off-season. Notice how quick and easy the process is. When Spring arrives, the filters raise into position in under 5 minutes.

Cottonwood filter screens are available in a variety of configurations for use on a wide range of mechanical systems to prevent airborne debris such as cottonwood seed, insects, leaves, pollen, pine needles, lint, paper / wrappers, birds & feathers, construction debris and more from getting into the equipment and lowering operational efficiency.

Filters are constructed of an engineered mesh specifically designed for high volume / high velocity air movement with extraordinary low impact on airflow & static pressure. Use of this product can increase the operational efficiency, reduce maintenance time and effort up to 75%, reduce energy cost up to 30% and help companies working on green building initiatives earn cost effective LEED credit points.

Cottonwood Filter Screens can be used on cooling towers, air cooled chillers, condenser units, rooftop units, dry coolers, air handlers & louvers, gas turbine air intakes and more.
