Recognising this, during 2011 Cashflo Limited placed contracts with UK filter element manufacturers that would enable the majority of compressed air and vacuum filter cartridges to be purchased on-line, at substantially lower prices. This would allow end-users to buy high quality drop-in cartridges that directly replace OEM branded product. Of utmost importance the cartridges would be high quality, high efficiency and 100% UK manufacture.
Design on the new Cashflo website was started in October 2011 and the prime objective was to compile an easy to use system for the ‘on-line purchase’ of compressed air and vacuum filter elements. Initially the project seemed to be quite simple. The mandate was to allow a purchaser to enter an OEM part number and this would return the equivalent Cashflo part number, price and shipping cost. In fact the search engine proved to be incredibly complex due to the similarity of many different OEM part numbers and this resulted with website designers from the USA and Sweden becoming involved. The site eventually went live in March 2012 after five months of development.
The new website at www.cashflo.co.uk has several features, all of which have been designed to assist the purchaser. It is primarily targeted towards businesses that carry out their own maintenance but will also be of interest to those companies and users that wish to provide ‘free-issue’ cartridges to their nominated maintenance providers. Just because a business might have a maintenance contract, this doesn’t preclude the possibility of supplying high quality parts to the service technician and saving money in the process.
Simply visit www.cashflo.co.uk and type in a few OEM part numbers to see the savings you could make. The site allows the casual purchase of an item without logging in or the need to register. Once you have finished shopping, an ‘Express Checkout’ option is available at the bottom of the webpage. This will navigate you through to the payment section. Regular buyers may benefit from creating a user profile that will make the process for checking in and out a little quicker.
