The SAACKE TEMINOX burner: A smart solution for industrial needs
According to the World Energy Outlook from the International Energy Agency, global energy demand will increase by more than a quarter by 2040, and industrial use of natural gas in particular will grow by around 45% over this period. At the same time, many countries are implementing more international and country-specific directives and laws such as the Best Available Techniques for Large Combustion Plants (≥50 MW) under the EU’s Industrial Emissions Directive. Gas emissions <30 mg/m3
This is where SAACKE comes in. We master the most demanding emission requirements: with gas emissions <30 mg/m3, our further developed ultra-low NOx TEMINOX burners for industrial heat and steam generation and with a capacity range from 3-28 MW meet or even fall below the strictest regulations with low CO and residual oxygen content in the exhaust gas. The sophisticated TEMINOX for natural gas, light oil or dual fuel operation combines all the benefits of a modern combustion plant. Its mixing system, the variability in the nozzle geometry and the adjustable stabilisation plate ensure a high control range of up to 1:10 (gas operation). The standard design is equipped with an electronic fuel-air compound control. A SAACKE UV flame sensor is provided for flame detection which monitors a wider frequency spectrum resulting in higher operational reliability.
New version with more advanced burner head
The compact TEMINOX burner is delivered ready for connection to shell and water tube boilers, thermal oil heaters and thermal processing plants. It can be flexibly configured for the use of special fuels. Integrated SAACKE SCanView controls including variable speed drive and O2 control can be included. Because of its simple installation, commissioning and maintenance, the TEMINOX reduces the plant downtime and is suitable for new construction and retrofitting on plants. Thanks to its robust and modular design, every combustion system – based on plug & play mode or even highly complex – can be converted to our latest TEMINOX model with a more advanced burner head with little effort. Due to this flexible and easy handling as well as its efficient performance, it is suitable for an enormous range of processes and industries such as: energy and heat supply, the chemical industry, the food industry, steel and metal production, the building materials industry and wood processing.
The monoblock version has an integrated high-performance fan designed specifically for the burner which, together with the energy efficient motors, achieves outstanding efficiency and can overcome large flue gas-side draft losses where necessary. The integrated sound absorbing system ensures quiet operation in compliance with the relevant sound insulation regulations. The duoblock version provides the additional option of use with preheated combustion air. The optional double gas ring also enables the simultaneous firing of two different gases.
