To help support and further develop the Baker Motor Condition Monitoring business Tony Ruane has joined Whitelegg Machines as Technical Sales Manager
Tony’s career commenced following college with an apprenticeship with Frank Vowles Ltd in armature winding, with progression to the testing, rewinding and overhauling all types of low voltage motors, generators, alternators, D C motors and transformers.
Moving on to Parsons/Dowding and Mills,Tony was tasked with setting up an LV workshop and gained experience also in high voltage generator work. Next positions at MR Engineering and Rewinds and J Windsor followed, reinforcing Tony’s experience in all aspects of computer controlled motor monitoring, workshop procedures and LV and HV testing and maintenance.
Before joining Whitelegg he spent several years at GE Power and Water (Power Generation Systems) here his position was in a customer facing role with GE Inspection and Repairs, and involving the implementation of motor management systems to aid company expansion. Additionally his nameis held on the global methods list for authorized personal available for Generator inspections. (Of which there are only250 names worldwide!
Tony is looking forward to this new challenge and will be introducing himself to existing and potential customers over the coming weeks.
