The new digital imaging camera takes 4 frames-per-second at intricate resolution, recognising anything that is 2 microns and above. Additional benefits are advanced algorythms which sort particles by size and shape giving root cause analysis.  An additional benefit is that the camera recognises air bubles and eliminates them from ISO counts. 

Laser particle counters see anit-foaming Siloxane based additives as particles and give higher readings, often 2 to 3 ISO codes higher.  The digital imaging technology in the Particle Pal Pro ignores these Siloxane additives and only counts solid particulate.

The size and quantity of particulates are calculated immediately. ISO, NAS cleanliness codes and full particle counts in the: 4, 6, 14, 21, 38, 70 and >100 micron ranges are all counted and reported

Air bubble elimination and shape recognition offers root cause particle analysis. Particles are categorised as Sliding, Cutting or Fatigue wear.  Bubbles and fibres are also recognised and reported.

Oil life indicators and Water content sensors complete the multi-analytic package.

While user-friendly, the 10” LCD offers meticulous, multi-stage analysis. The software contains over 500 oil ageing profiles.   

The rugged, rechargeable design is suitable for in-field use on oils or diesel fuel up to 4,000cst. Sample images of a fluids contamination and full reporting are built in.
