GORINCHEM - In 2020 the Maintenance and Worksafe trade fairs will take place under one roof for the first time in the Netherlands: 21, 22 and 23 April 2020 in Evenementenhal Gorinchem.
Maintenance made its debut in the Netherlands in 2018, while Work safe will make its first appearance in 2020. This ‘unique’ exhibition combination ensures that both maintenance and safety within various industrial sectors are central. In addition to a well-filled exhibition floor, there is also a conference programme, the theme of which has now been announced: Assets, Safety and Human Factor.
Asset owners and users are facing major challenges. Assets need to be set up smarter and more efficiently, even when they are ‘outdated’. In addition, installations must emit less CO2. By 2030 it must be reduced by 50 percent and by 2050 even by 95 percent. In addition, the number of accidents caused by human error must be reduced to zero.
Assets, Safety and Human Factor
Easyfairs has bundled these current affairs and issues, the themes Assets, Safety and Human Factor form the basis for the freely accessible conference programme at the Maintenance and Worksafe trade fairs. One gets an answer to the question how maintenance work can be carried out more efficiently and safely. How do you break through the current practice? How does the work floor think about this and how does this relate to the vision of management? The focus is not only on technological developments that are at hand, but also on how they can be implemented: the people, the organisation (structure), leadership style and flexibility.
The approach of the conference programme is non-commercial. Various presentations are given by independent parties. The NVDO (Dutch Association for Efficient Maintenance) has officially pledged its cooperation with the exhibition organization and is an important partner for the interpretation of the program and the recruitment of knowledge partners. NVDO is a leading branch organization that offers support to companies within the Dutch maintenance sector by means of advocacy, knowledge transfer and networking.

Manufacturers, suppliers and service providers offering solutions for the maintenance market will be present at the Maintenance trade fair. They specialise in industrial maintenance, shutdown technology, and asset management and production reliability with the aim of optimising the production process. Trade fair Worksafe focuses on professionals with solutions for safe and healthy working within the industrial sector, such as (machine) safety, disaster prevention and control and personal safety.
