Idhammar Systems Ltd (“Idhammar”), a leading European provider of total productive maintenance and manufacturing software, today (1st April March 2012), announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Migalon AB, (“Migalon”) provider of Maintenance Management solutions in Scandinavia, Asia and the Middle East.
As a result of this acquisition, the whole of Idhammar’s Scandinavian business will be moved into Migalon AB. The company will be a fully owned subsidiary to Idhammar Systems Ltd based in Bristol UK.
Migalon was founded in 1994 and has 25 years of experience in industrial maintenance management. With more than 70 installations worldwide, including customers in Energy, Utilities and pharmaceuticals, Migalon Maintenance Management Systems offer high functionality which are easy to use for small and medium enterprises, and are available in English, Swedish and Arabic.
Significantly for Idhammar, whose core function is helping manufacturers achieve greater manufacturing effectiveness and efficiency, Migalon adds another Maintenance Management System; ‘Terema’ to the portfolio.

All products and Services of Migalon AB will continue to be developed in parallel with the Idhammar product line.
