Joining BEKO in 1999 with already over 10 years experience of working in compressed air distribution, Richard held the position of area sales manager responsible for all sales of BEKO products to end users and distributors within the Midlands region. Richard then moved to hold the position of BEKOBLIZZ product manager for the UK and several European countries where he was responsible for developing the market for BEKO TECHNOLOGIES specialist BEKOBLIZZ deep cooling system for the plastics industry.

From this position Richard returned to the BEKO UK fold as general manager for the UK and Ireland. In his time as general manager BEKO UK has doubled in size to become a key player in the UK and Irish compressed air industry.

Richard’s new role sees him responsible for the Nordic countries and Benelux in addition to the UK. His duties are to grow the region in accordance with the BEKO “Vision 100” strategy which requires further significant growth over the next five years.

“During my time at BEKO I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and work with many interesting and kind people from whom I have learnt a great deal- and enjoyed myself along the way! I hope to use the knowledge gained over the last 20 years in the compressed air industry to further develop BEKO’s success in the North Europe region, whilst still keeping in touch with those friends I’ve made in the UK.” says Richard.
Richard enjoys hill walking and restoring old pressure lamps when he’s not working. He also enjoys travel- which is just as well given the size of his new area!
