Its operation principle is based on measuring the object's thermal radiation power in the range of infrared radiation and visible light. Fluke 62 will be of great help when measuring temperature in hardly accessible, hot, rotating, and hazardous places. It ensures exact measurements within a wide temperature range from -30°C to 500°C. Besides, it has an improved optical system with resolution 10 to 1. It allows to do measurements of smaller objects at a greater distance. Laser target pointer ensures higher precision when directing the device at the place of measurement. All this is placed into a compact ergonomic frame. Measured data is shown on a big LCD display with a booster light. To start using the pyrometer simply press the green trigger-button and direct it at the place of measurement. When the button is released the display saves the last value. The device is powered by a 9 volt battery. The set is supplied with a case for a convenient storage and carriage of the device.
