Offshore Platform Stops Compressor Trips Within Hours After DECON™ Application

A MAN screw compressor operating on a North Sea offshore platform has returned to stable operation following the application of Fluitec's DECON™ technology. The compressor had been experiencing high bearing temperatures and repeated shutdowns caused by varnish deposits within its lubrication system. Working with A&S International, Fluitec applied DECON™ directly to the existing lubrication oil, without requiring an oil change or system flush. According to the case study, bearing temperatures reduced and compressor trips stopped within hours, delivering reported savings of over $2 million and a 320x return on investment. Read the full Fluitec case study in the PDF below to discover how the treatment was carried out and the results achieved. 26-Fluitec-CS-DECON-NorthSea-Platform-MAN-Screw-Compressor-UK-0903.pdf
