ROCOL Lubricants has developed a new food-grade multipurpose grease in close consultation with one of the UK's leading food producers, which is highly tacky to ensure long term adhesion to moving parts in numerous food and drink industry applications.
Called FOODLUBE Ultra, the new NSF H1 registered lubricant was initially developed to improve the lubrication of wrapping machines at Nestl
Although versatile enough to offer a solution in many different food, drink and clean applications, FOODLUBE Ultra is primarily designed to provide non-toxic lubrication of slides, cams, gears and plain bearings. Its formula means it will not drip or splash and it offers an extremely long wet life. The development team at ROCOL has also ensured the lubricant provides a highly adhesive film which is extremely resistant to water wash-off.
FOODLUBE Ultra can be applied by a mastic-type gun which helps to reduce mess and waste. It has a temperature operating range of between -15 and +160 degrees Celcius, and like all products in the FOODLUBE range, it does not contain mineral hydrocarbons, animal derived materials, nut oils and genetically modified ingredients.
