Not only does VSD control produce the level of energy saving benefits - up to 35% - usually associated with larger compressors, but with air treatment equipment such as refrigeration dryer, air filters and condensate management built into the compressor package, there is a further 10% saving to be derived from reduced installation costs and the elimination of pipework leakage and pressure drops. A sound level below 69 dB(A) allows installation of the compressor at the point of use, eliminating the need for a separate compressor room
Atlas Copco is the only manufacturer able to offer fully packaged VSD compressors in a range that starts as low as 11kW.
