UK-based manufacturer of explosion-proof products, CorDEX Instruments, has signed an agreement with Al Najim Saudi Industrial Company Ltd (NASICO) to enable NASICO to distribute CorDEX Instruments range of Centurion XP explosion-proof digital cameras in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“This agreement is part of our planned expansion into the Middle East market” said Paul Sacker from CorDEX Instruments. “Al Najim is well known in the Saudi Market and has established a strong reputation for technical excellence and customer support”.

The Centurion XP family of products is designed and manufactured in the UK. Based around a five megapixel digital camera, the Centurion XP family is the world's first explosion-proof digital camera with flash, LCD display and movie mode that allows users to review their images in the hazardous area.

The range includes the Centurion XPG range for explosive (vapour) atmospheres, the Centurion XPM2 digital camera for mining environments and the Centurion XP Dual certified for use both above and below ground.
